This copy is signed by Shepard himself in a limited run of 500 books to have been so, and has an introduction by China Mi�ville.

Clipped dust-jacket lightly soiled and spine-sunned, with a single small closed tear and a small neat ink annotation "errors p.174" to inner flap in Hill's hand, and minor loss at head of spine. Autobiographical account of the adventures of John D Craig (1903-97) the American diver, stuntman and film producer, best known for using film and tv to bring the underwater world to a wide audience. Clipped dust-jacket has 2 miniscule nicks and is lightly rubbed with minor soiling and toned to edges, with the colours bright and vibrant. A Very Good copy in a Very Good dust-jacket. Rare Golden Age sci-fi title, not on COPAC.

Includes a list of those local worthies on the Darwen Relief Committe and contributors to the Darwen Relief Fund. Rare, Library Hub locates just three copies in UK libraries.

A clean bright copy with very minor bruise to lower corner of lower board. Inscribed to title page: "To Christopher Borwick with best wishes from Alex Graham Jan. 1970". The letter is also dated 1970 to Mr Borwick, and refers to the request for his inscription and to the purchase of originals and copies of Graham's work. Jacket slightly surface soiled with small nick top edge and rubbed spine tips. Near Fine in Very Good jacket. Alexander Graham (1913-1991) the Scottish cartoonist, was the creator of the popular character Fred Basset, published in the Daily Mail newspaper.
