London; Geoffrey Bles, 1969., 1969. Hard Cover. INSCRIBED reprint with letter from the Author, printed only a month after the First Edition. Square octavo, pp. 64. Illustrated throughout with numerous captioned cartoons. Publisher's hyacinth blue cloth with gilt titles to spine and upper board in unclipped pictorial dust-jacket. Letter from the Author laid-in. A clean bright copy with very minor bruise to lower corner of lower board. Inscribed to title page: "To Christopher Borwick with best wishes from Alex Graham Jan. 1970". The letter is also dated 1970 to Mr Borwick, and refers to the request for his inscription and to the purchase of originals and copies of Graham's work. Jacket slightly surface soiled with small nick top edge and rubbed spine tips. Near Fine in Very Good jacket. Alexander Graham (1913-1991) the Scottish cartoonist, was the creator of the popular character Fred Basset, published in the Daily Mail newspaper.
