Text clean and unmarked except for previous owner's name at free front endpaper. Top edge gilt. Frontispiece portrait of Henry VIII and 7 other portraits of Henry and his contemporaries. Light brown cloth boards decorated and lettered in gilt at front and spine. Boards slightly discolored, two small areas of soiling at lower back, edges rubbed, corners worn to boards, spine top frayed, spine cloth split at back joint. Hinges good, binding firm.
