The 'Garden Book Club' edition of 1952, the first book edition was published in 1951, both uncommon editions. Vita's voice and passion for gardens and nature made her writings very popular: personal and informal but offering practical advice at the same time, it attracted both amateur and expert gardeners.Included in this charming book is a reprint of her 1937 book Some Flowers.Vita Sackville-West is known not only for her successful writing career, but also for her creation of the gardens at Sissinghurst Castle together with her husband Harold Nicolson.
