Octavo, xv, [3], 185pp. Gray cloth, title in gilt over red label on spine. This copy appears unread. In the publisher's dust jacket, bright illustrations, fine condition. Signed on the front free endpaper: "Best Wishes, Roger Ailes." An exceptionally rare book signed by Ailes, with no record of other copies appearing on the public market. Roger Ailes (1940-2017) was an American television executive and founding CEO of Fox News Channel from its inception in 1996 until his resignation in July 2016. Prior to his work in television, Ailes had a career in political consulting, advising Republican presidents Richard Nixon, Ronald Reagan, and George H.W. Bush, among others. During his tenure at Fox News, he played a pivotal role in shaping the network's conservative-leaning programming and its reputation for opinion-driven news coverage. Ailes faced multiple allegations of sexual harassment and misconduct throughout his career, leading to his departure from Fox News. He passed away on May 18, 2017, at the age of 77.
