NO owner's name or bookplate. NOT a remainder. Pages are clean and crisp. NO underlining. NO highlighting. NO margin notes. 1979. First Edition. This is #110 of 500 HARDCOVER copies [there were also 1500 in softcover]. Illustrated. A very useful and comprehensive reference that provides biographical and bibliographical details for thousands of authors who used a pseudonym at least once. The title of this book is deceiving. Its listings are not limited to works of Fantasy and Science Fiction, nor are the entries limited to pseudonymous publications. Titles published under an author's real name are also included. Titles in all genres are identified including mysteries, screenplays, westerns, nonfiction, etc. Also included are authors of children's books such as those who worked for the Stratemeyer Syndicate. For example under Howard Garis, writing as Victor Appleton, there are 35 Tom Swift titles, as well as the Campfire Girls books he wrote as Marion Davidson, etc. Bound in the original black cloth, stamped in bright white. Complete with dust jacket. . First Edition, Limited 500 copies. Oversize Hardcover. Near Fine condition/Near Fine dust jacket. viii, 202pp. Great Packaging, Fast Shipping.

Sobre About Books

About Books (Genny and Michael Winne, proprietors, formerly of Parsippany, New Jersey) has been selling rare and OP books since 1985. Besides book fairs and mail-order catalogues, long-time collectors and dealers will remember our lengthy For Sale ads in the Antiquarian Bookman and similar magazines. Our inventory of over 40,000 volumes is especially strong in the specialties listed, but contains fine books in a variety of other fields as well. Because most of our books are stored in protective boxes, rather than on shelves, they cannot be viewed as a whole. If you wish to visit us to examine specific titles, please provide 24 hours notice and we will make them available for your inspection. Phone calls to (702) 750-2722 are welcome, but please, only between the hours of 8am and 10pm (west coast time).
