Large octavo, white coated paper covered boards with silver titles and spine titles. Very generously illustrated throughout with full color (many full page) and black and white reproductions of the works of this noted illustrator. A special tribute to the famous Swiss botanical illustrator Lotte Gunthart by the Hunt Botanical Insitute, including a short biography and a list of Water Colors and Drawings drawn up by the artist. Includes a half dozen articles by leading botanical authors and scholars. Also included is an article by Gunthart "A Day With A Rose" describing her method of work. SIGNED AND WARMLY INSCRIBED BY GUNTHART on title page next to her photograph. A very tight, clean, fresh, bright, unmarked volume. Without dust jacket as issued. FINE..
