Top text block edge colour fading, remaining edges starting to tan and fox. Endpapers starting to fox and tan. Internally neat, clean, bright and tight. Dust jacket has light shelf wear, chipping to edges, mirrors book damage, not price clipped. The story of Christine, a woman who has grown up in a country ravaged by war and dissension and who has learnt to rely on no-one but herself, but whose love for Victor a reckless and successful financier, awakens her to life.
