Volume I dated 1824 on title-page but preface dated January 1826, volume II dated 1825 on title-page. Matching bindings with quarter leather, marbled board and marbled end-papers. Leather joints are cracked but binding is sound, rubbed cover edges, previous owners' names, clean slightly darkened pages and plates.
