Square, tight and clean throughout. Very light wear to spine ends and tips. Very mild shelf-wear to bottom edge. Attractive unclipped wrapper has some edge and spine wear with a couple of tiny chips. 1" closed tear to rear cover. Light bit of rubbing and soiling to the white cover. Still, a solid example of an impossibly difficult title to find dust-wrapper. Protected with an archival-quality mylar cover. From the jacket blurb: "This is the first big novel of America's participation in the world war---comprehensive, authoritative , courageous and absorbing. An heroic story of sheer Americanism". An excellent collectable copy of a very scarce title, particularly with the wrapper.
