Pages are moderately tanned and foxed throughout. Previous owner's inscription to front free endpaper. Sticker to front pastedown. Plate facing page is detached but still present. Brown staining to pages throughout. Visible creasing to gutter. Cracking to hinges and gutters, leaving netting exposed. Boards have moderate edge-wear with bumping to corners and rubbing to surfaces. Soft crushing to spine ends. Noticeable tanning to spine and edges. White marks and water staining to boards. Gilt lettering is bright and clear. Book has a prominent forward lean.
