The gilt text and decorations are bright and clean on the spine and front board although the gilt text stamping for 'The Lakeside Press' at the lower portion of the spine is somewhat dulled. Without a dust jacket as issued. A Lakeside Classic issued in 1951. Edited by Milo Milton Quaife. Originally published in 1929 by the Yale University Press. 380 pages with index, text and some illustrations. A bright clean and tight volume with no prior ownership markings of any kind.
