Originally published in 1921 as Logisch-philosophische abhandlung and the only major work published in his lifetime is here printed with the German text on the left page and the English translation by D.F. Pears and B.F. McGuinness on the right hand. Certainly, the best place to begin and of great help for those who have at least elementary German, here is the beginning place to study his thought which includes central ideas as well as those he rejected by the time Philosophical Investigations was issued (published posthumously). A very good copy bound in red cloth, spine lettering gilt, previous owner's name and with four lines of pencil notes to rear flyleaf, in clipped dust jacket with chipping to corners and large piece torn away at spine.
