Sobre este item
The Toiling of Felix by Henry van Dyke, with illustrations by Herbert Moore and decorations by Edward B. Edwards.
Hardback, 1913, first illustrated edition, with tipped in colour plates and golden floral decoration edging, published by Charles Scribner's Sons, New York, 70 pages.
Measures 8 3/4" x 5 3/4". Indigo cloth binding with gilt edging detail and lettering to front board and spine. Discolouration to spine. Some signs of shelf wear, a little tearing at top of spine and corners of boards, which are bumped. Binding reasonably firm, a little straining throughout but otherwise good, hinges intact. Upper page edge gilt, outer and lower edges deckled and outer edges a little jagged from having been cut. Some scuffing to upper edge and browning to outer and lower edges but quite clean. Previous owner stamp tp FFEP, the odd mark throughout but page surfaces clean, with no marginalia, underlining, etc. See pictures for further information.
