Heavier tanning to endpaper & pastedowns. Binding is shaky, however pages remain fully attached. Moderate foxing to text block edge. Boards have moderate edge-wear with bumping to corners and rubbing to surfaces. Spine has crushing to both ends. Book has forward lean. White staining present.

Presentation from one of the authors A Dunscombe Allen to Eleanor Farjeon 1881 - 1965 who was an English author of children's stories and plays, poetry, biography, history and satire. Eleanor Farjeopn has then further inscribed the book to another friend. Through Europe and the Balkans, The Record of a Motor Tour. The authors drive of 6,300 miles through Europe and the Balkans many years before motoring was common. The intrepid Vauxhall 20/60 was the car used by the explorers. Book is very good+ and in bright condition. Light edge rubbing. Contents good. More images can be taken upon request. Ref16232
