The whole thing centres around a sinister gang that practices mind control and has abducted three children. Set in the forests of the highlands, an area that Buchan depicts very well, the plot is a little thin. The best part of the book is probably the ending, where Hannay is pitted against a dangerous adversary in the sort of rugged upland country that the author loved so much. A NEAR GD++ tect copy with some age and wear reducing it to GD for its age. No dust jacket.* 0
