Top edge severely age darkened and some spotting to fore edge. GD+.* Illustrations: One b/w line drawn map to frontis with red route marked upon it. * Pages: 319 pp. text. iii pp. blank pages at rear.* Description: A Richard Hannay adventure but set when he has become a ""Sir."" The whole thing centres around a sinister gang that practices mind control and has abducted three children. Set in the forests of the highlands, an area that Buchan depicts very well, the plot is a little thin. The best part of the book is probably the ending, where Hannay is pitted against a dangerous adversary in the sort of rugged upland country that the author loved so much. A NEAR GD++ tect copy with some age and wear reducing it to GD for its age. No dust jacket.* 0
