John Mason, London, 1864. Reprint. Hardcover (Half Leather). Very Good Condition. Secondhand copy, rubbing of the spine, and the leather corners, with cardboard exposed at the top of the front and rear boards, all edges marbled, and pages marbled, very scattered foxing to the first three leaves, and the last three leaves of the book, internally clean, bright, and as far as I can see, no annotations. There is an index of texts, and an index of "texts more or less illustrated", and the book has no illustrations or drawings. The chapters of the book are – benefits derived a two man from the Atonement, extent of the Atonement, an examination of certain passages of Scripture supposed to limit the Extent of Christ's Redemption series which limit the extent of the death of Christ redemption – further benefits the moral law, the duties we owe to God the duties we owe to God: – the Lord's Day morals: – duties to our neighbour, and the last part of the book is institutions of Christianity – the Christian church – the sacraments – baptism – the Lord's Supper Size: 8vo - over 7¾" - 9¾" tall.
