(United Kingdom): Bob Hadaway, 1975. 233 pp, 8 1/2" H, dark blue cloth with gilt lettering on front board, title label taped to spine by previous owner. No date, but c1975. Profusely illustrated with b&w drawings, technical diagrams. "(A) wealth of information on (Bolt-action military rifles) of fifteen nations of which little has been collectively written in recent times. Each individual rifle has drawings in great detail of small components, which should be of great value for checking originality, repair and general interest. A desirable chapter on ammunition, chargers and clips is included, with historical and technical notes; plus drawings of the respective cartridges used and components. In addition a chapter on revolvers and automatic pistols of the period compliments the longarms along with descriptions and sectioned drawings of practical breech-loading military rifles of an earlier period." Book has cigarette odour, minor tanning to the pages, light browning to the edges of the text block, very light edge wear, light rubbing on the boards.. Not Signed. Facsimile Edition.. Hard Cover. Very Good/No Jacket.
