Illustrated with a colour frontispiece, three colour plates, and thirty-one monochromatic plates. Collated complete. The myths and legends of the Teutonic people, evolving from primitive beliefs, and handed down from generation to generation. With chapters on creation, the nine worlds, Odin, Asgard, Thor, Loki, and more. Written by Donald Alexander Mackenzie, a Scottish journalist and folklorist who was a prolific writer on religion, mythology and anthropology. Dated from the British Library. In the original green cloth binding. Externally, very smart with light shelf wear and minor rubbing to the extremities. Minor fading to the spine. Internally, firmly bound. Pages are very bright and clean with the odd small spot or handling mark. Very Good Indeed

Where are We?
Based in the literary city of Bath, our offices are housed in the Eastern Dispensary. Built in 1845, the building originally existed as a charitable institution providing medical care. The building now houses our collection of over twenty thousand books and has five full time members of staff.
