London: Richard Bentley, 1867. Leather. Fair. 572p. Ex-library. A hardcover book bound in 3/4 green leather with marbled boards and foredges. No library marks on exterior. Edges rubbed and spine lightly faded, and pages faintly age-toned and foxed. Bookplate inside front cover and library stamps on title page and page 59. Otherwise clean and tight. Volume 19 of TEMPLE BAR, a British literary magazine, containing monthly issues from December 1866 through March 1867. Includes an installment of the novel ARCHIE LOVELL by Annie Edwards, a poem by Mortimer Collins called "The Two Alices," installments of LADY ADELAIDE'S OATH by Ellen Wood (author of the sensational Victorian novel EAST LYNNE), and a piece by Edmund Yates called "At the Play.
