Orange cloth covered boards with black print on front and spine. Spine is bumped and there's a bit of fraying at the corners. Binding and hinges are strong and solid; pages are clean and unmarked, with a bit of foxing on top edge. Pages are off white. Tipped-in frontispiece with illustration by A. W. Sperry. Also includes promotional bookmark, listing all prior Tarzan novels available in 75 cent Grosset and Dunlap reprint editions.
