Sobre este item

New York: Holt, Rinehart & Winston, 1976. First Printing, First U.S. Edition. . Hardcover. Near Fine/Near Fine. An early World War II adventure from the author of "The Eagle Has Landed" featuring the crew and passengers of a 19th century sailing ship, the Deutschland, leaving Brazil in August, 1944, for a roundevous with destiny a month later in the Outer Hebrides off Scotland, along with a variety of other Germans, Americans and Scotsmen, all facing together a storm that has caused the war to fade into insignificance. A dime-sized stain on lower edge of text, o/w boards and text are clean and unmarked, tight, with a very slight lean at the lower end of spine; the dustjacket is price-clipped but o/w close to perfect, no tears, no chipping or creasing. A collectable copy.
