Reading, PA: Supergraphics. Good+. 1970. First Edition. Paperback. Wraparound color covers; B&w reproductions; Folio 13" - 23" tall; 212 pages; 1970 & 1972 Supergraphics; Reading PA. Two volumes, complete as issued. 1st edition. Very large folio sized paperbacks with Steranko color wraparound covers in saddle stapled bindings. 84; 128 pp Sound, clean and decent copies. Both have rubbing and partial splits to the covers over ths pine edge - which we have reinforced with archival (japanese kozo) translucent paper tape. Light general surface stressing to the covers. Volume I with mild dogearing to front corners, a short repaired nick to the front edge of the rear cover. Volume 2 with mild offset stains to the top edge of the inside surface of the covers. Both volumes with expected light halo taoning to page stock. Illustrated throughout with reproductions of early pulps, golden age comic art etc. A standard history of the develope4mnt of the comic form, intended as a 6 volume work, offered here with the two volumes published. Worn but sound and decent . G to G+ ... Oversize book likely to require additional charges for expedited or international shipping. .
