Some staining to half-title page and first page of Contents. 15 x 5mm chip to blank margin of pages 1-2. ; [1-4] vii-xi [1] (1)-238 pages + tinted lithograph frontispiece + [2] pages only of publisher's advertisements [Bagnall has [2], 44 pages advertisements]. Appears not to be original publisher's cloth. An early rebinding? Indigo blue cloth boards. Gilt lettering and rule on spine. Page dimensions: 181 x 121mm.
