Sobre este item
Alston Rivers, London., 1907. First edition. Octavo. pp xvi, 173. Two pages of adverts at rear. Reddish cloth, top edge gilt, in the same format as that of The Heart of the Country and The Soul of London. The last of the author's publications with Rivers, disappointing sales having caused something of a rift. Unbound sheets were sold to Duckworth who cut them down and issued them in their Reader's Library edition.Free endpapers lightly tanned. Small patch of foxing to half-title page. Spine slightly faded. Head of spine slightly scuffed. Very good. Uncommon.
