A particularly well-informed guide to the traditional ways of farming and how petrol-driven tractors and other machinery changed much from the 1920s onwards.Niall's history includes almost all aspects of rural life - from shepherding,ploughing,game-keeping,cropping,rural trades, forestry,cattle and hunting,etc.
