This book is from 80's and it is great sum-up of all the information known about Soviet tanks at the time. Some information is little dated and opening of Russian archives did unclassify many information which are only speculated in this book. Book includes introduction and good, detailed descriptions about Soviet Army armoured equipment after ww2. There is included battle tanks, reconnaince, ifv, engineering and artillery vehicles with very good line drawings and pictures. Especially great in this book is its very good line drawings, where is represented the alternations and modifications between different models of certain tank. Also opening section which concentrates design practices for soviet tanks is great. It views issue from the view of manufacturing industry and puts tank development in wider context.
