Lawson (1857-1925) who was an author, a millionaire entrepreneur, famous for the eponymous huge schooner. -- Limp hardcover, a uniform personal fine binding, black leather with raised spine bands, ruled edges, gilt dentelle border around striking marbled endsheets, AEG all-edges gilt. Condition: near fine (tiny nick on spine; couple small faint spots front-cover).
