Sobre este item

Boston: I.N. Richardson & Co, 1871. Hardcover. 357p. A green cloth hardcover book in good condition. The spine is cockeyed and the edges of the cloth are wearing through. Early owner's neat ink inscriptions on front endpapers. Some small, light stains and other unobtrusive blemishes here and there on the inside, but text otherwise unmarked. Hinges shaken, but binding still secure enough for normal handling. A Union soldier's memoir of his time in Confederate prisoner-of-war camps. Includes an appendix listing the names of soldiers who died in the camps. Illustrated with black and white plates and a small foldout map of Andersonville.
