New York: Pantheon Books, 1947. First Edition Thus/First Printing. Hardcover. Good/Fair. The second edition published 15 years after the original apperance in English. In blue cloth and title panel with gilt to type. Top page ends tinted blue with some spotting. Bump to bottom front corner and wear to edges with a few tiny holes worn through at bottom of rear board. Interior clean and binding solid. Jacket is unclipped ($5.00) with chipping at corners, spine ends and flap creases and a few tears to bottom of rear panel which is tanned. Lovely cover design by McKnight Kauffer

If the book is not received as described, a return in like condition may be made within 14 days for a full refund. For CA residents: Sales tax will be processed as an additional charge. Please note that shipping rates are for an average sized book, supplemental shipping may apply if the book is heavy and/or oversize, or if there are multiple books in a shipment. Gift wrapping available upon request.
