Hardback book is tight clean and square. Boards sharp and unmarked, illustrative gilt perfect. Text block clean and sharp. Feels unread. Fine condition. Slipcase near fine, with only light handling marks to the panels. For grading accuracy books are photographed without a protective book cover. Note we do not use stock images, the book pictured is the book described. Introduced by Julia Eccleshare. Frontispiece and 12 full-page drawings by Roman Pisarev. Bound in grey cloth, blocked with a design in gold and black by Roman Pisarev. Grey endpapers. Plain black slipcase. An very nice first printing of this Folio Society edition produced to the usual Folio standards. One for the Folio collectors shelves.
