The plays included (in English translation) are: For the Sake of a Good Reputation, a farce of office life by Chilean Eduardo Barrios, 1913; The Traitor, a tragedy of the war of liberation by Cuban Jose Antonio Ramos, 1916; Sargeant Canuto, a farce in the commedia dell'arte manner by Peruvian Manuel Ascencio Segura, 1839; Lottery Ticket, a play for children by Ecuadoran Victor Rendon, 1934; Common Clay, a naturalistic play on the outcast poor by Argentinian Pedro Pico, 1918; An Old Yarn, a funeral farce by Mexican Jose Joaquin Gamboa, 1925; Midsummer Day Partners, a tragedy of customs and character by Argentinian/Uruguayan Florencio Sanchez, ca. 1900; and The Inn of Bethlehem, a nativity play for radio by Colombian Jose Zalamea, 1940.
