Sobre este item
New York, NY: Harper and Row, 1941. First of this edition. Hardcover. Acceptable. Leonard Weisgard. Scarce. Appears to be a first Harper edition, with no separate title page as shown in later editions. The adventures of Muffin (text) begin immediately after the blue illustrated endpapers, with "Published by Harper and Brothers New York Copyright 1941 by Margaret Wise Brown. Made in U.S.A." Former owner's name in light ink on front endpaper full of fishes, with light waterstain to signature. Rubbed at edges, worn at corners. Linen spine is tight and clean. No dj. One of the beloved series of "Noisy Books", that MWB did with Leonard Weisgard, the Caldecott winning illustrator, best known for his collaborations with her.
