Sobre este item

London: The Bodley Head, 1966. Large octavo, hardcover, 286 pp., plates. Otherwise a fine copy in a near-fine dust-jacket. In 1937 Amelia Earhart, already famous as the first woman to cross the North Atlantic by air, hit even bigger worldwide headlines when she and her navigator, Captain Noonan, vanished without a trace in the Western Pacific during an attempt to fly round the world. Also includes loosely inserted newspaper articles about Amelia Earhart.
