Sobre este item

London: The Crime Club by Collins, 1955. First edition. Cloth. Near Fine/Very Good Indeed. 7.5" by 5". None. A very smart first edition of this detective novel set in the idyllic English countryside, from New Zealand mystery writer Ngaio Marsh. First edition. Set in the idyllic rural English community of Swevenings, a brutal murder of an enthusiastic fisherman occurs and all of the suspects are members of a tight-knit social group. Written by Dame Edith Ngaio Marsh, a New Zealand mystery writer and theatre director. In the original red cloth binding. Externally, very smart with light rubbing to the extremities. Original unclipped dust wrapper is also smart with light wear and the odd mark to the rear panel. Minor sunning to the spine. Internally, firmly bound. Pages are very bright and clean throughout. Near Fine
