San Francisco: The H. S. Crocker Company, 1918 Book. Fine. Hardcover. First edition. Quarto. [60]pp. 26 halftone photographic plates. Original printed gray boards with large mounted photographic plate on front cover. Light wear to spine ends, two small chips to spine, lower corners lightly rubbed, else a fine copy. A very acceptable copy usually found with the spine badly chipped and worn. Bruguiere's wonderful Soft-focus views of the ferries, the San Francisco skyline, the new City Hall, Kearney and Market Streets, Alcatraz, Portsmouth Square, Golden Gate Park, numerous views of Chinatown, etc. Bruguiere was born in San Francisco; he produced numerous photographs of the P.P.I.E. in 1915. Sobre Argonaut Book Shop

The Argonaut Book Shop was founded in 1941 in the middle of the financial district of San Francisco. The Argonaut was a founding member of the Antiquarian Booksellers\' Association of America and has been a member in good standing ever since. The Shop is now located just three blocks from Union Square in downtown San Francisco and is open six days a week. Parking facilities include ample street space and a parking garage close by.
