With an introduction by Edward Thomas and index at rear of volume two. Number 638 & 639 in Everyman's Library Travel series, edited by Ernest Rhys. --- In 'flatback' binding style 1, full ribbed green cloth-covered boards with elaborate Reginald Knowles-designed gilt spine titling & decorations, blindstamped J. M. Dent vignette to front cover, brown topstain and fancy Knowles woodcut art at title page, endpapers & frontis. Volumes lack the dust jackets. --- With mild age-toning to leaves, acidic staining to endpapers, else a sound, well-preserved, unmarked set.; 12mo - 7 to 7-1/2 in. tall; xiii, [3], 320, vii, 335 pages .
