Sobre este item
New York: Carroll & Graf Publishers, Inc.. Fine in Fine dust jacket. 2000. First Edition; First Printing. Hardcover. 0786707763 . A handsome first edition/first printing in unread Fine condition in Fine dust-jacket. Front top corner slightly bumped. Tiny closed tear at tail of dust jacket. Signed by author Christopher Cook directly on the title page; A group of robbers, led by a charismatic and ruthless leader, rob banks throughout the country. As they move from town to town, they become more daring and ruthless, until they reach their final destination: a small town in the middle of nowhere. The town's residents are unprepared for the robbery, and the robbers quickly realize that they are in for a fight. They are outnumbered and outgunned, but they are not afraid. The robbers fight tooth and nail, using everything they have to stay alive and pull off the heist. In the end, only a few of the robbers make it out alive, and the rest are either captured or killed. What makes this story interesting is the way that the robber leader manipulates and controls his followers, making them do everything he says. This makes for a fascinating and suspenseful story.; 8vo; Signed by Author .
