Toronto: Collins, 1949. First Edition. Hardcover. Very Good/Poor. 8vo. 307pp. Red cloth with gilt lettered spine. Book is cocked. Dust jacket in poor condition, with heavy wear and loss to edges and corners, spine is gone and the dust jacket is in three pieces. This copy inscribed by Bertram Brooker "To Marie, From one of those people to another" -Bertram Brooker. From the library of Ontario author Marie McPhedran, her name and address in Toronto in blue ink above the inscription on the front endpaper. Small bookseller's rubber stamp to inside corner of front endpaper also.
