This book written to accompany the Exhibition at the museum in the bay of Mont-Saint-Michel - the Scriptorial d Avranches - around its favorite themes of writing , calligraphy, the aesthetics of the book, sacred art, etc. Here 'Reflections of Armenia' concentrates mainly on manuscripts and religious art. With around fifty pieces, the exhibition seems very modest in view of the immense Armenian artistic heritage scattered in several countries around the world. But, thanks to the work of Edda Vardanyan, curator of the exhibition, this book features the sacred art collections of the Armenian Museum of France (Paris) . Some very slight edge wear to the tips of the corners o/w near as New. An ink presentation Inscription by 'Edda' (the Author/curator) on the half title. Otherwise internally no other marks, very clean tight and bright. The number 1359 in a circle in ink is written to the bottom of the inner rear cover, which may be the publication number of the book issued? Or ? Illustrated with full colour plates throughout, with some b/w illustrations in the text. With the Collaboration of Annie Vernay-Nouri. Translated into English by Janice Abbott. In both the French and English languages. Images available on Request. ; Oblong Small 4to 8" - 10" tall; 168 pages; Signed by Author .
