Publishers' jade green cloth with gilt titles to spine; printed blue dust-jacket, with gallows motifs in green to spine and upper cover. A little minor light foxing to text-block edge otherwise a clean bright copy; no annotation or inscriptions. Jacket lightly surface soiled with a little discolouration, creases and a couple of small nicks top edge. Near Fine in Very Good jacket. A study of the problems caused by the Jury System in the workings of English justice, with reference to well-known cases such as that of Alfred Arthur Rouse, and Steinie Morrison. Scarce
