The authors profile giants in the field, summarize their most famous stories and then give suggestions for other authors whom you might like as well. There's a ton of useful reference material, like winners of Space Academy Awards, lists of Last and First Books, a (mostly "Painless History of Science Fiction", etc. Highly recommended.
