Sobre este item
Boston: Universalist Publishing House, 1884. Almon Gunnison (1844-1917) was a Universalist minister who became the president of St. Lawrence University. His train trip across the west also included a mule trip to Yosemite Valley. This is a Near Fine copy of the First Edition. Green cloth binding, decoratively stamped in black. Titling in gilt on the spine and front cover. Clean text; 245 pages. This copy has the signature of a member of the Gunnison family, dated 1886, on the first free endpaper. [Quercus has been unable to identify the individual.] Corners are sharp; just a bit of light rub to the head and foot of the spine. An attractive book, and worthy of a read today.. First Edition. Decorative Cloth. Near Fine/No Jacket. 8vo - over 7¾" - 9¾" tall.
