Chicago: P. F. Volland & Co., 1924. Worn copy of the first edition [1924]. Delightful color illustrated story about Raggedy Ann and Andy and some new friends - and learning that "when one is thinking lovely, kind, beautiful thoughts of course one had not time to become lonesome". Pictorial paper covered boards, pictorial endpapers, unpaginated (about one hundred pages). Some cover wear and soiling, including wear-through along the edges and corners, spine covering chipped with about a 2" piece missing from the top, Raggedy Ann's apron partially colored in on the front cover. Hinges intact but binding shaken, one page missing in chapter two. Child's bookplate and inscription on the half-title, pages mainly quite clean with some light scattered finger soil to a few margins, some short closed margin tears from little fingers roughly turning pages, none of the tears affecting the printed area. . First Edition. Hard Cover. Fair. 8vo - over 7¾" - 9¾" tall.
