Herbert Jenkins, 1919. Hardcover. Acceptable. 1919. First Edition. 289 pages. No dust jacket. This is an ex-Library book. Quarter bound black leather with blue cloth covered boards. Gilt lettering. Contains black and white plates. Book has been rebound by library, with expected inserts, stamps and inscriptions. Clean pages and plates with noticeable tanning and foxing throughout. More pronounced to free endpapers and pastedowns. Thumb-marking present. Binding remains firm. Boards have heavy edge-wear with bumping to corners, crushing to spine ends and rub wear all over. Gilt lettering is darkened. Heavt splits to corners causing cloth to be frayed. Book has a heavy forward lean. Visible wear and liquid marks to boards.
