New York, NY Charles Scribner's Sons, 1936. Hardcover irst Edition USA (1936), unstated, but this appears to be a later printing, though no subsequent printings are listed. Very Good: The Book shows ia small, superficial bump at the middle of the rear edge of the backstrip, the gilt titles at same are somewhat muted, but no sunning or rubbing seems to be involved: light shelving wear to the lower extremities; very slight wrinkling and crimp to the heel of the backstrip; the text pages have tanned; the binding is square and remains secure; the text is clean. Free of creased or dog-eared pages in the text. Free of underlining, hi-lighting, notations, or marginalia. Free of any ownership names, dates, addresses, notations, inscriptions, stamps, plates, or labels. A handsome copy, structurally sound and tightly bound, showing mild wear and minor, unobtrusive imperfections. NOT a Remainder, Book-Club, or Ex-Library. 8vo.
