Sparse, contemporaneous annotation in pen, mainly to first blank page; otherwise text is clean and bright, binding square and tight.. 8vo. 5.25 x 8 in. xliv, 306 pp. Volume 1 (of 2) only, including Andria, Eunuchos, and Heautontimorumenos. 18th-century critical edition, with apparatus, commentary, and index. Text in Latin. Half-leather over decorative paper, spine tooled in gilt with red leather spine label titled in gilt, all edges stained red; marbled endpapers. Very attractive type on good laid paper.
