London, Wells Garner, Darton & Co., 1898. Hardback, Tall 8vo. 9 x 7 inches. In green pebbled cloth with black decoration to front and gilt-paneled embossed lettering. In very good condition. Some minor rubbing to corners and rear board else cloth clean and bright. Endpapers darkened on free sides. Bookseller stamp to corner of endpaper “Mid Educational Co. Market Street, Leicester.” Catalogue pages darkened at rear. The odd minor foxing spot else pages and plates all very clean and tight throughout. 164pp. plus illustrated catalogue 24pp. 13 very nice colour chromolithograph plates, and Many B&W wood-engr.aved illustrations.

The Antique Map & Bookshop was established in 1976 and has been in Puddletown since 1978. PUDDLETOWN is situated just outside DORCHESTER in the county of DORSET, on the A35 to BOURNEMOUTH. The village has a by-pass now which means there is easy access to the village and ample space for parking. Our shop is directly on the main road through the village.
