Many colour illustrations. A wonderful book, reflecting the energy and vibrancy of the British art world of the 1960's. It shows the painters and sculptors in their studios and homes, illustrating how they worked and lived. Eighty-one artists and sculptors are studied, including Barbara Hepworth, Graham Sutherland and Henry Moore as well as the newer generation including David Hockney, Bridget Riley and R.B.Kitaj.
