Sobre este item

Bostn: Houghton Mifflin, 1950. First Edition. 8vo. 403 pp. Orange cloth with black ruling & lettering in publisher's color illustrated dustjacket. Light scrape on lower board edges; slight wear to spine ends else a fine copy in near fine dustjacket (wear and light scraping to extremities). Joe Hill, the militant labor leader of the "Wobblies" (IWW) who became an American legend, is the central figure in this historical novel. Stenger attempts through fiction to recreate the character of the man who has been called both martyr and murderer. (Colberg A11.1.a).
